New for 2024, the Fender Custom Shop introduces the 1967 Telecaster DLX Closet Classic. Nearly six decades after its initial release, the ‘67 Telecaster is still a highly sought after model. With its two-piece select ash body, maple neck with round-laminated maple fingerboard, Bigsby B5 Vibrato tailpiece and RSD J-Bridge, this Tele is perfect for nearly any collection.
Available in a trio of DLX Closet Classic lacquer finishes (Natural Blonde, Three-Color Sunburst and Candy Apple Red), this finely aged Telecaster has the look of a guitar that was owned with pride, well cared for and religiously polished over many years. Moderate finish checking and hardware oxidation create a the distinct look and feel of an instrument that has evolved into something beautifully complex—like a fine wine.
